A local company has donated several splashback panels and cupboard / wall revamp coverings for the club to sell in order to raise funds.
There are two products which are marketed on Facebook Market place. The first can be found at https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/206093844239756/
The Splashbacks are plastic sheets that can be put on walls to replace tiles (see www.egrdecor.co.uk or enter Zenolite in a search engine for more product information). They have 3150x650x6mm sheets available in ivory and mocha and some 2440x1000x6mm in carbon. These retailed at about £300 a sheet, and are being offered at £40 by the club.
Advantages for using the sheets are
-Made from acrylic with a mirror reflection high gloss finish
-Fits over new or existing wall finishes, including tiles
-Can be cut and drilled with normal power tools
-High scratch resistance and easy to clean due to durable hard coating
-20 x the impact strength of glass, yet only half the weight
-Impervious to moisture as panel sizes eliminate the need for grout

All proceeds from the sales for the splashbacks/cupboard covering are for our charity run football club – Heeland Rangers.
Our objectives at Heelands are to organise, or assist in organisation or provision of facilities which will enable girls and boys from 4 years old up to the age of 17 years of age and resident in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, to play Association Football. The Charity will ensure that due attention is given to the physical, personal and educational development of their minds. For many of these children we are the most regular, enjoyable activity and role models in their lives.
We currently have 11 teams from U8 to U18, also running nursery training for 4-6 years old. We do not have trials or hand pick players and will not refuse anyone on their ability, we are here to let any player who want to play play, as long as they show willingness. This works for us as is shown by the good retention rate we have year to year. Many players have been with us their whole playing career and some have even gone on to become our coaches, one a qualified referee. One is now even our Vice Chairperson. We pay for all courses/qualifications needed, so that they can continue being involved for as long as they want to.
Funds are always needed for kit, equipment, maintenance, etc so the coaches/volunteers of this club can continue to provide a safe and constructive environment for these children to play football. We also have long term goals for new drainage and an AstroTurf pitch.
